LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability.
The ADNOC tower has been certified as a "LEED Gold" tower by the U.S Green Building Council.
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an internationally recognized green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance across all the metrics that matter most: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.
Some of the salient green building features of the project are:
41% reduction in total water consumption through use of efficient water fixtures.
24.9% reduction in total energy consumption through energy efficient design and use of efficient materials. Reduced cooling loads through optimized building envelope and performance window glazing.
79% of the generated construction waste was diverted from the landfill.
100% reduction in potable water consumed for irrigation through use of non-potable water supply.
Use of durable / sustainable materials and 20% use of materials with recycled content, thereby reducing impacts resulting from extraction and processing of virgin materials.
The company's commitment towards Sustainability, Environmental Policy and Comprehensive Sustainability Management helped us achieve the Project LEED Target.
