The Aramco Stadium is a large-scale design-and-build project that will contribute to the continued growth of Saudi Arabia’s sports and entertainment landscape. Developed under the leadership of Aramco and delivered by the joint venture between BESIX and ALBAWANI, the stadium is being designed to host major sporting events while also serving as a year-round destination for communities and visitors.
With a capacity of approximately 47,000 spectators, the venue will combine modern architecture, advanced engineering and high-quality spectator experiences. The project reflects Saudi Arabia’s ambition to invest in world-class infrastructure and strengthen its position as a leading destination for international sports and entertainment events.
The BESIX-ALBAWANI joint venture is responsible for the design and construction of the stadium and its associated infrastructure. The project encompasses a comprehensive range of facilities required to support international sporting events and large-scale gatherings.
In addition to the main stadium, the development includes general admission seating areas, VIP and VVIP hospitality facilities, player accommodation areas, media facilities, training pitches, parking infrastructure and an energy centre designed to provide power and cooling to the complex. The scope also covers extensive roadworks and landscaping, creating an integrated environment that supports both event operations and visitor experience.
