Warner Bros Theme Park

Six Construct brings the Warner Bros pictures to life in the Middle-East

In Abu Dhabi, Six Construct has built the prestigious Warner Bros Theme Park on Yas Island. Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi differs greatly from normal projects regarding buildings and heavy civil construction. Not only because of its nature, but also because we were working with artistic creative consultants from the entertainment industry. Specific features and requirements like guest experience, art direction, show production, 7,430 static and 178 animated props, 68 No show action equipment, 10,667m2 of rockwork, 23,420m2 of themed flooring, state of the art thrill rides, story boards, intellectual property and brand assurance, etc., added an original flavor to our normal expertise!

Little Hollywood

In parallel the specialist show construction subcontractors prepared mock-ups to establish the level of detailed feel required and paint finishes for elements like artificial rock work, themed façades and sky ceilings to reproduce the art deco buildings found in the heart of Hollywood and replicate the sets and sceneries from cartoos and movies we all know. This required real artistic craftsmenworking in close collaboration with the art directors. The technical part consisted of audio/video, lighting, special effects and show control. It doesn’t come as a surprise that complete media production files, queue timelines and show scripts are being prepared to provide a holistic guest experience.

Abundance of Experience

Thanks to previous experiences with similar projects including The Living Planet, Legoland® and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, BESIX Group has positioned itself as a partner of choice in the construction of theme parks around the world.
