Awarded at the end of 2015, the Bahrain LNG Import Terminal project involved the design and construction of key marine infrastructure to accommodate Floating Storage Units (FSU) and LNG carriers. The scope included a double berth jetty and a 500-metre-long, 15-metre-deep breakwater. BESIX Engineering led the design phase, and the site team was mobilized following the Final Notice to Proceed in November 2016. The project was successfully completed in 2018.
